Death & Dismemberment
When you suffer damage in excess of your current hit points, check the number on the highest damage die:
1d6 Damage | Variable Damage | Death & Dismemberment | Minor Injury |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 1 | Sunder a held shield or weapon, otherwise move to the next entry | Lose 1d4 fingers |
2 | 2 | Stunned for a round, suffer a minor injury | Lose your nose |
3 | 3 | Bleeding, save at the end of the hour or die unless treated | Lose a hand |
4 | 4,5 | Internal Injury, whenever you attack or make a save, save or die | Lose an eye |
5 | 7,9,11 | Dismembered, lose a limb, save or die from shock | Lose an ear |
6 | 6,8,10,12 | Doomed, death next round | Lose a foot |
If you take further damage, you die for good.
