Death & Dismemberment

When you suffer damage in excess of your current hit points, check the number on the highest damage die:

1d6 Damage Variable Damage Death & Dismemberment Minor Injury
1 1 Sunder a held shield or weapon, otherwise move to the next entry Lose 1d4 fingers
2 2 Stunned for a round, suffer a minor injury Lose your nose
3 3 Bleeding, save at the end of the hour or die unless treated Lose a hand
4 4,5 Internal Injury, whenever you attack or make a save, save or die Lose an eye
5 7,9,11 Dismembered, lose a limb, save or die from shock Lose an ear
6 6,8,10,12 Doomed, death next round Lose a foot

If you take further damage, you die for good.
